And Yet My Name is Grace

Last weekend I spent several hours with a good friend lamenting past mistakes, dissecting what could've helped us avoid them, and strategizing how to minimize them popping up in our futures. But at the end of the night (well. . . .technically by that time it was several hours into the morning) one topic kept coming up--grace.

As I write this I have mascara smeared down my face (You know in Mulan when the matchmaker accidentally smears tea around her mouth? That's what my face looks like!) from tearfully helping a friend recognize all the good things in her life she is still worthy of regardless of the mistakes she has made. The entire experiences was centered around the atonement.

How different are the two, really--grace and the atonement.  I could expound on what I've learned about them in the past few weeks, but ultimately the atonement is not only infinite but intimate. There is always more to learn, and always more to apply. So I challenge you to read/listen/study/ponder some of things that have taught me so much. Why do these things matter to you? How is their power, are the lack of your understanding of their power, influencing your life right now as you sit in your chair and read this?

P.S.-As my name is Grace, I have studied the principle throughout my life. Each of these resources have been key catalysts in the growth of my understanding.
