I love that! It's so true.
I think its so important for us not to compare because we are all here for a different purpose. Yea the overall goal to make it back to our heavenly home is the same but we all have a specific purpose on earth. My purpose is different than yours and yours is different than mine. We were all given different strengths and weaknesses and talents for a reason. No body can be better at being you than YOU. 
I love Elder Hollands quote that reminds us the race is against sin not against each other! We are all in the same war against Satan, its hard on all of us. Instead of competing lets strive to help each other out! I also love Elder Holland's quote "You are not diminished when someone else is added upon"
Attitude is everything. It's amazing how the exact same life could look so different to someone who is optimistic vs pessimistic We really get to choose how we see the world around us. We can look for the good or the bad, we'll find what we look for! Contention is of the Devil, it never solves anything. Arguing, yelling, & criticizing is never helpful. I don't remember who said this quote in conference but its so good "It takes two people to contend, and I will never be one of them" Christ needs us to be peacemakers.
